2024 Conquesta Olympiads
As we look forward to an amazing year, we’re pleased to announce:
- Our invitations for the 2024 Conquesta Olympiads were officially sent out on 22 January 2024. Invitation (Click to see official invite.)
- The 2023 Benchmarking Results will be displayed on our website by the end of February 2024. You can compare your school’s results to the national averages here.
- The 2023 Top 20 Schools Results will also be displayed on our website by the end of February and the Top 20 Schools will receive their well-earned certificates by this date. Congratulations to all who achieved a place on our Top 20 Schools list.
We need your input!
Robotics
Robotics was added to our subject list in 2019 for grade 6 – 9 learners, and the interest in Robotics has grown considerably since then. We’re considering extending our Robotics range to include additional grades, and need some feedback. Who better to ask than you! This feedback is invaluable to us in shaping the future of our Robotics program. We would like to know if you would be interested in seeing Robotics Olympiads for other grades, and if so, which grades? Also, is there any specific content you would like to see in the Robotics Olympiad papers. Please indicate your interest by clicking on the Poll link below.
The content of our Robotics papers is compiled by Dr Patricia Gouws and her team.
Dr Gouws is a senior lecturer at Unisa, and was awarded ‘The University of South Africa Woman of the Year 2014′.’Her aim is to inspire and create awareness of Robotics in the development of 21st century skills, within the learner, educator and leader community, to take Africa to the World.’- SA Innovation Summit (Facebook 20 November 2019).

Want to get to know your Primary / High School Class better? (Gr 1-9)
Why not infiltrate some fun into the classroom with a few games to warm up the atmosphere! This will break the ice between the learners, and everyone will get to know each other a bit more. Here are a few games to get you started.
