Four World-Class Cruise Ships to Make Their Debut

Flight Centre’s Cruiseabout specialists, who offer a broad range of cruise itineraries, have revealed that four new luxury ships, belonging to some of the world's major cruise liners, will soon set sail.

Nautical gems – Carnival Vista, Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas®, MSC Meraviglia and ms Koningsdam, have been created using the latest technologies and architectural designs, making them top of their class.

Carnival Vista

Currently under construction in Italy, Carnival Vista will sail the Mediterranean and the Caribbean once it launches in April 2016.

The ship will include groundbreaking features such as Skyride, a suspended open-air cycling experience; the world’s first IMAX® Theatre on a ship; Kaleid-O-Slide, the line’s first water tube slide; and RedFrog Pub, which will house the line’s first onboard brewery.

Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas®

The newest addition to Royal Caribbean’s award winning Oasis Class fleet will be the first in a new generation of Oasis class ships, where groundbreaking architectural innovations are combined with the breakthrough technologies that this cruise line is known for.

There’s the Ultimate Abyss, with the first ever 10 story shipboard plunge, as well as the exhilarating multilevel Perfect Storm slides. You’ll be able to take a tree-lined stroll through Central Park while the kids explore Splashaway Bay or find your own haven in any of the other seven iconic on board neighbourhoods. Sip a post dinner cocktail crafted by a robot in the unique Bionic Bar and share every moment with not just your family on board, but friends back home with VOOM – the fastest internet at sea.

Catering to every craving, Harmony of the Seas® will offer the most dining options at sea, including new specialty restaurants Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, Sabor Taqueria and Tequila Bar, and Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine, a whimsical setting where Royal Caribbean chefs twist their culinary kaleidoscopes.

The ship will debut in May 2016 for her inaugural summer season showcasing Europe’s most popular cruise destinations.

MSC Meraviglia

MSC’s largest ship will feature a sophisticated combination of state-of-the-art technology and amazing new entertainment options, including the world famous Cirque Du Soleil – a cruising first. It will also have a large open air aqua park with 5 slides, several new different specialty dining options and a two deck promenade with an amazing LED.

ms Koningsdam

Holland America Line’s brand new vessel will set sail on its maiden voyage in April 2016.

The cruise line commissioned legendary interior designer, Adam D. Tihany to bring this new ship to life. The ship will feature BLEND where guests will be able to blend their own wine and enjoy it at dinner or in their stateroom.
