Eagle House School’s New Hybrid Learning Environment
Eagle House School is gearing up for the future and becoming a Hybrid Learning Technology school. Hybrid learning is a type of blended learning that refers to implementing synchronous lessons that are taught simultaneously in-person AND online. Hybrid teaching allows students who need face-to-face instructions to receive them while giving those who desire a more flexible approach the opportunity to be accommodated as well. It also provides for varying teaching strategies to be used with only a fraction of the challenge. Our unique teaching methodology of High Impact Teaching supports our hybrid teaching methods in a form of technology.
Our hybrid learning classrooms use cutting-edge technology to create our educational environment. Teachers at Eagle House facilitate these hybrid lessons using motion-tracking cameras that broadcast their lessons to online students who are displayed to the in-person students on a large online learning screen. This allows students to feel connected and learn together, regardless of whether they are in the classroom or online.
