LTM Energy Wins The Global Sustainability Leadership Awards

Dhevan Pillay, CEO of LTM Energy Group, will collect this award in person on the 13th of December 2022 at Le Meridien Ile Maurice, Mauritius. This award is presented to a company that has demonstrated outstanding achievement and innovation in promoting renewable, efficient, or other smart energy technologies under the category of Sustainable Innovation.

“As the founder of LTM Energy, my goal has always been to leave a mark on the world that our kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids will enjoy. With ten years of planning, hard work, passion and self-discipline by the entire LTM family, it was possible,” says Pillay.

LTM is actively and consistently focusing on efforts to negate climate change. They pride themselves in using smart technologies and processes to improve people’s lives whilst saving the planet. LTM has recently proposed an alternative to Eskom load shedding using demand-side response strategies as per best practice. The intent is to pilot the solution to some of its key customers and Eskom so that the economic impact on the country and customers is preserved.

Pieter Brand, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, says, “LTM Energy is always embarking on innovation and working together with other people in the industry. Sometimes we even work with our competitors because we truly believe that a “rising tide will lift all ships”. This award follows the awards of the international AEE Top Innovator held recently in Atlanta, USA and the Top Most Green Leaders Global awards received earlier in the year.

Over the past ten years, LTM Energy has made every effort to ensure that an investment in their technology and software pays back handsomely for their clients. They have developed an in-house proprietary software that, together with the IOT (Internet of things) devices, brings huge value to their blue-chip clients as a key enabler to meet their climate change goals.
