GridCars Charging Stations Are Now Available On Google Maps – First in Africa!

A Google search for “GridCars charging stations” will display the location of our nearest charging stations with detailed directions and navigation available directly within Google Maps.

GridCars has worked extensively with Google Maps to ensure that the location of all GridCars charging stations, as well as the additional information about these stations, is available to Google Map users on Android, iOS, desktops and in certain EV models (such as the XC40 Recharge). EV Drivers can easily plan their road trips in Google Maps and add the GridCars charging stations as pit stops along their route. Google Maps will also provide real time availability of the charging stations as well as additional site information such as the location, connection types and speed. EV drivers will also be able to add reviews, photos and ratings of the charging stations within Google Maps, providing additional useful information to assist other EV drivers.
