AngloGold Ashanti Appoints Kelvin Dushnisky As Its New CEO

The position is effective from September 1^st, 2018, and is a replacement for outgoing CEO, Srinivasan Venkatakrishnan (Venkat), who’ll be heading up Vedanta Resources at the end of August 2018.

Dushnisky joins AngloGold Ashanti from Barrick Gold Corporation (Barrick) where he was responsibile for Barrick’s overall business and the execution of its operating plans and strategic priorities across Australia, Africa, the Middle East, North America and South America.
